About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the patient and payer master data management team to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of patient data.
- Includes Product Ownership, accountability for operations, roadmap development and ensuring needs of all IDS sleeves from patient & payer mastering needs are met.
- Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure data consistency and resolve data-related issues.
- Oversee the integration of patient / payer data from multiple sources and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulations.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data management best practices and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management technologies and practices.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Data Science, or a related field; master’s preferred
- Minimum 10 years in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with deep understanding of patient data management
- Proficiency in data management tools and software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to foster collaboration and innovation across cross-functional teams
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and driving product lifecycle strategies
Desirable Requirements
- 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on patient data management
- Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at senior leadership level, addressing complex business challenges
